Spell check in both Swedish and English (and French and German and...)

If you're like me then you have English as a first language and as the principle language on your Mac but you live in a country that doesn't have English as the principle language. What does this mean? It means you do a lot of typing in both languages. So, how do you get your Mac to stop underlining every word that is not English? Here's how.

This is a great tip from MacWorld Sweden, as I mentioned in a previous article I bought this month's issue yesterday.

Go to "Edit" in the menu bar of whatever program you are using. I'll use Mail as an example. And select "Spelling". (In Sweden it's "Redigera" and "Stavning".)

If you have English preset you will see this.

Simply change it to "Mulitlingual".

And there you go, now the spell check will go through all the languages instead of just English. Go on and write as much Swenglish as you want without the annoying underlining.
