Pimp My Snack

I've mentioned in the past on mindrepanda.com that I have used the username "amanset" on all sorts of places over the years. One of my weaknesses in life seems to be videogame forums and I use "amanset" all over the place on those. RLLMUK was the worst, with something stupid like 7000 posts (and that was on only the most recent incarnation of that forum). Via the old Edge forum and RLLMUK I became aware of Stuart Campbell's forum. Stuart Campbell, as some may remember, did lots of bits and pieces for Channel 4 Teletext's videogame section "Digitiser" as well as about a million other things related to videogames journalism. Anyway, once I finally kicked the RLLMUK habit and subsequently found time to actually do stuff with my life, I started checking his forum a bit more often It can be slow at times but some genuinely interesting things come out of there and of late something cracking has appeared.

Pimp My Snack is a fantastic piss take of the MTV "Pimp My Ride" phenomenon, concentrating on tarted up home-made versions of well-known snacks. Some are "simply" bigger versions of snacks, like the original pimped snack, the Mother of All Kit-Kats, whilst others try to do genuinely unusual things with food, like theDeathSmart.

Anyway, this is just a minor article letting you know about the site and all. Go there and pimp like you've never pimped before.
