Ladies and Gentleman: Vanilla Ice is Coming To Town + Interview in Metro

I saw this in City and at first I thought it was a joke, or at least an advertisement for a bad taste 90's dance party or something. But alas, no. People of Stockholm, Vanilla Ice will be performing live at Göta Källare on Sunday, November 27th. And the question is: Are you willing to pay 100SEK to see this spectacle?

Check out those tattoos.
Apparantely the Iceman is on tour promoting his new album, "Platinum Underground", which is currently sold out on his official website. It is a "best of" collection featuring a bunch of songs you've never heard of sandwiched around Ice Ice Baby.
I'm guessing all this means that somebody out there believes that the world is ready for more Vanilla Ice. This could open the floodgates for every other one-hit band/rapper/skatman to once again go out on tour. I can't wait to see Snow.
If we can bring ourselves to go we will bring you a review of the event here at Mindre Panda.
Update: We couldn't bring ourselves to go. But apparantely a lot of people were there, and one of the pre-concert songs was in fact Snow's "Informer". Dagens Nyheter, one of Sweden's two major newspapers, described it as a "noisy idiot party". I can't say I feel much resentment for not being there.
